Lary Bremner writes under the name he was born with, lary timewell. He was the founder of Tsunami Editions, Vancouver, B.C., & responsible for most of the library of taped readings at the Kootenay School of Writing before 1992, which were largely aired on Gerry Gilbert's legendary weekly poetry hour on CO-OP Radio, CFRO, Vancouver. His chapbook Jump/Cut appeared in the initial 1986 Tsunami series. Other work has appeared in the Capilano Review, West Coast Line, Writing, Verse, Motel, and B.C. Monthly. In 1992, after the decline of salmon fishing in British Columbia, he moved to Japan to start an eikaiwa / English language school. Recent work includes a chapbook addressed to the late Billy 'Zonko' Little, entitled the ubiquitous gaze of che, a collection of new work, posthumous spectacle nodes, and a first printing of the1986 Polaroid poems, Pas d'affiches.

Ocassional 'harinezumi' photographic uploads, and a very sporadic notebook-cum-exchange-module of writing can be viewed at http://columnatedruinsdomino.posterous.com/
